Rachelle Soule, owner, created Box of Posies out of her love of flowers. Having had 30+ years in the floral industry it was her challenge to find another way to work with flowers without the perishable part of the equation.  All the flowers are individually preserved and then the creations are put together with other organic products and faux succulents. Each piece is a one of a kind creation. Her intention is  that these creations can bring joy to those who acquire one that is lasting.

Cathy McClelland has drawn and painted most of her life. Art has always been her escape from day to day life, taking her into the realms of her imagination. She studied illustration at the Academy of Art College, in San Francisco. In 1979 she moved to the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe’s beautiful environment is a constant inspiration for Cathy, bringing her close to the heart of nature. The mountains, water, forest, moon, animals and stars feed her creative spirit. At Lake Tahoe she has freelanced as an illustrator, art director, designer, muralist and painter. Cathy subjects range from nature, mystical, visionary, animals symbols and sacred places. Her medium is acrylic, using both hand and airbrush to enhance and detail her work. Most of her creations have a feeling of depth and a soft magical beauty.
